{N & S - Married at the Schoolhouse} Ottawa Wedding Photographers
N & S were married in an intimate and touching ceremony At the Schoolhouse in Munster surrounded by their closest family and friends. It was a pleasure to both get to know them as we shot a beautiful engagement session in Ottawa this summer, but it was even sweeter to meet their family and feel as if I was not only capturing this special moment for them, but was also a part of it...Here is one of my favorite images from our day...

J&R - Album Design
I recently completed a large wedding album for J&R with a new company Irisbook; a Canadian company located in Vancouver. Most of the high-end wedding album companies are located in the States, but I was looking for a Canadian product and was thrilled to find them. Iris creates a look that is in keeping with the boutique service and style that m photography delivers. Simple, elegant and classic, these beautiful handcrafted albums are one of the products that sets m photography apart. I take pride in the fact that your album is designed personally by myself and is never sent out to a bulk design company. I take care of the details and that is another reason why we are able to deliver your album quickly.
If you are a recent client and are considering an album for your 2009 portrait session, these beautiful albums also come in and 8x8 and 6x6 size for families, maternity, trash the dress and boudoir sessions. Stay tuned- images to come when the album arrives...here are some sample pages from the album-enjoy!
m photography is an active member of the Canada Wedding Photographers Association.

T and N - At the Schoolhouse-Ottawa wedding photographer
If you follow my blog, you will remember T an N and their little miss G- I have been looking forward to this wedding from the moment I met this amazing couple. This amazing wedding was steeped in Scottish tradition right down to the smallest details. The couple took part in a traditional rose ceremony for their mothers, who were each given a rose preceding the ceremony. The vows were so touching I found myself teary and unable to see through my lens. Congratulations T, N and little G.
More pics still to come...

WHAT THE BRIDE SAID: WICKED! AWESOME! From the very first time that I met Melanie right to the very last picture that she took at our wedding she was phenomenal. Fun, energetic, great attention to detail, budget saavy, those are just a few of the words that I would use to describe Melanie. She made a girl who was absolutely terrified of the camera feel like a woman who felt sexy, stunning and hot on her wedding day! I would absolutley recommend Melanie for your wedding pictures! This will not be the end of the pictures that you will be taking for us. Family photos should be next and then, God willing, some maternity shots!

The Parker Family - Celebrating Love and Family
After many years and 3 wonderful children later, D&D came together to celebrate their love and their family in an intimate ceremony at the Lovely Schoolhouse in Munster, Ontario. It was moving to see the love this family has for each other, and what could have been more special than to have their children witness. A lovely day.

J&R Married -At the SchoolHouse-Munster] Ottawa Wedding Photographer
Every wedding is special and captures your heart in many ways, but when Jennifer & Reg married at the Schoolhouse in Munster, Ontario, I felt so a part of their day, that I felt like a welcomed guest and not just "the photographer". R and J have an incredible love between them that could be felt among everyone. Congratulations J and R and thank you for having me as part of your day. Props to the Schoolhouse staff who put this lovely affair together in under 2 weeks and to planner Joan-anne Cantley of Viva la Wedding for her day-of services - it was flawless. caterer, "The Mixing Bowl" prepared a lovely cocktail reception and beautiful cake.
What J&R said: Reg and I would like to thank you and your assistant for capturing our day! It was great and we look forward to seeing all the shots! Our guests felt the same as you obviously, they all stated you were so nice and felt you fit right in!
We could not have asked for a better day on two weeks notice! I think we ended up with a great location, great photographer & great weather to share this special day with our select family and friends! Once again Melanie, a big thank you, your being there captured our day in a special way that we will have forever!

E and D - Married!] Ottawa Wedding Photographer

A very intimate wedding held at the Schoolhouse on Saturday evening. When they hired me they told me how much they disliked being photographed, which is funny, because they wanted to hire me to photograph their whole event. So my challenge was to blend in, hide and become inconspicuous while photographing the story of their wedding. The other challenge was that we had 30 to photograph the bride and groom alone and do their group shots too- mission well accomplished. Here are some favorites to tell the story:
