{Kristen & Wes-Wedding at the Royal Golf Club} Ottawa Wedding Photographers
Kristen and Wes were married in an intimate ceremony at the Royal Ottawa Golf Club in Aylmer. Among their closest family and friends, some of which had traveled from Europe to attend, they closed their ceremony with a champagne toast with everyone. A special request from the couple to have their guests simply enjoy the ceremony and refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, was a welcomed change of pace and I do believe that it added to intimacy of the ceremony. Special thanks to Dr. Alan Viau, the wonderful officiant who was an excellent support (I love the way you dive out of the kiss picture! Perfect).
The weather was, to say the least, horrible. It started with rain and near zero temperatures and it ended with the first snow of the winter season to come. In spite of the cold weather, the beauty of the club provided a beautiful back drop with its covered porches and elegant decor. Yummy touches provided by Isobel"s cupcakes and the food at the Royal was also excellent and looked beautiful. Here are some of my favorites from the day.
